“4. Why do people think i7 is the greatest, ultimate processor? Looking at the current Sandy Bridge processors, the i7 mobile processor is only 0.1 GHz faster than the i5, and when TurboBoost-ed, it’s only 0.2GHz faster. It’s not quad core, it won’t clock at 3.0GHz, you don’t really get that much more if you choose i7 over the i5.”
it’s 2 higher.

I doubt Sprint in particular would considering they’ve been trying to be as friendly with Google as possible.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if this meant it was in Comcast’s best interests to remove data caps?

I assume it’s that, but I just can’t fathom how they think it’s a good idea to have that in an ad where they don’t actually explain how S-Beam is a really cool technology. Instead it makes the couple look like insane people.

Well part of it is that the creators of the series are still embroiled in a legal battle over denied royalties from Activision.

Well I think that in particular is interesting. There’s no real study to this, but I don’t think it’s a coincidence that as Comcast started introducing data caps to the SF Bay Area, a SoCal broadband company started aggressively pursuing business in the SF Bay Area offering cheaper prices and promising absolutely no caps.
TV providers need to be careful about how they approach this since it’s really easy to open up major markets to new competitors.

Considering Netflix is producing their own content and will make hand over money-filled fist once the Arrested Development series comes out, I’m pretty sure Netflix could dictate whatever they wanted to do.
