You can’t go wrong with a nexus 7 , the only set back is storage, for that you can just buy an OTG cable and plug in a USB, that’s what I do anyways. You can just copy files to it no need for any useless software whatsoever (Ehem iTunes I’m looking at you). Lots of apps, maybe not all the ones you can find on the Ipad but the ones you don’t have are really specific and everyday users don’t need them (try to prove me wrong if you can, I’d like to see if I’m missing out on anything great).
You didn’t mention what you will be using your tablet for, but I’ll recommend the nexus 7 or 10. I currently own the nexus 7 and I’m a college sophomore. I don’t use it for productivity purposes ,I have no use for it in that way because all my work (word, excel, powerpoint, photoshop) is done on my laptop. I occasionally open my pdf, word , powerpoint files on my tablet but that’s it. I also use a wireless logitech keyboard and mouse that I link to the tablet with a OTG cable sometimes if that is helpful to you. The nexus 7 is extremely portable, powerful with no performance issues and gets the updates first from Google and from what I hear they’ll be releasing a new nexus 7 this June/July.
Wait, so google is mad at micosoft because their youtube app is making them lose money they never had the intention of making? In what world is that not hypocrit? It’s like being mad that no one is paying for the product that you’re not selling !
