It does depend on where you live, for example my HSPA+ speeds are nearly as fast as what I would be getting on LTE in my area.

That being said, I don’t think the S4 is a particularly attractive phone, and I get the impression that a lot of people settle on it just because it’s “good enough”. At this price, I don’t see a real reason to choose the S4 over the Nexus 4.

For half the cost, the Nexus 4 still looks like the much better deal, even if it is still missing LTE. Is there really anything that the S4 does that much better to be worth it?

I think the point being made is that as it stands, RT is not a whole lot more useful than ChromeOS for everyday tasks, and isn’t worth the performance and price trade-offs on a machine this low end.
