I’m not going to argue the legality of the patent, but if ICS’s unlock method was in anyway a response to Apple’s slide to unlock patent, then it may have been for the best, because I love the ICS lock screen. Besides, there are so many more intuitive ways to unlock a phone than “moving the unlock image along a predefined path.”

Who’s idea was it to have that little bar over there on the side? To be frank I think it throws the whole design. Yes it provides a bit more functionality, but throwing a giant white bar on the side just to see the first 4 characters of a few notes is simply not worth it. I do like the look of the app past the home screen though.
