Agreed. I don’t mean to drag engadget into this but on articles such as this, they have a timer that actually tells you what time it will happen in your local time. Whatever magic they’re using auto-detects and tells you everything you need to know. The Verge can do this too, I’m sure.

This is the absolute worst case of reading comprehension fail that I’ve ever seen in the ~20 years that the internet has been a popular service.
JXC clearly demonstrates that recommending a shoe is a bad idea by proving that the recommended shoe by Michael was bad for him, while a completely different shoe was good for him. There is no hypocrisy here. JXC’s post reinforces the idea that recommending a shoe is a bad idea, and no where in his post is a recommendation seen.
Good day.

The only interesting service Yahoo does have is Yahoo Answers. I admit, despite the fact Yahoo is mostly a joke to me, I do find that Yahoo Answers seems to have a sustainable niche. I mean it’s pretty much a (popular) question forum for anything. That way you don’t have to hunt down a possibly unfrequented forum. It’s pretty good if you need up to date situational advice.

Thank you for the graph. WP looks like it’s almost a straight line in the past 2 quarters, and Blackberry is clearly just decreasing.

Just an update, did a bit of googling and I suggest everyone checks out this article by Ars Technica for a better idea of what D-Wave is and what it can do:

This is correct. I’m not entirely sure what D-Wave even is, but it’s certainly not a REAL quantum computer.

Yeah, it’s gonna be a while before it’ll really be compatible for everyone. Early days and all. I’m the same, don’t drive, don’t go to restaurants and I haven’t paid attention to any weather forecast in such a long time as I found them 100% useless and I’ve been doing well since.
