Ouch.
Wait wait. No, I do connect to the internet. But it’s whenever I want to, not whenever the console does.
Owned.

Sony’s allowance of publishers to enforce DRM is no different than PS3: EA’s online pass (I know it’s been discontinued now, but they might bring something similar back for the PS4).
Xbone seems to take this whole DRM restriction to a new level. A bad level.

Good. Take a step back now and think. Ask yourself what you believe you’re gaining from holding onto the platform. Whip out some pros and cons and see what comes back at you.

+1. Once again Apple is playing politics over giving users a good user experience.
First maps, now this.

Nah, our current methods of searching and our current radio broadcasts will yield no results.
Our general radio broadcasting signals (which goes out into space accidentally) will pretty much degrade into incomprehensible background noise fairly quickly, and that also applies to any other broadcasting alien race. It’s possible that a strong directed radio signal could be picked up if an alien species targeted our planet but you have to take into account the speed of light as to how long it’s gonna take to get here and how long it’d take us to return a signal to them. Chances are, a message would be pointless to return.
And besides, soon enough we’re going to stop broadcasting on radio in general anyway (happening in a lot of places already with digital ’n all) and our planet will be effectively silent.

Eh, sadly this isn’t too far off. A very popular app in my area actually got the latest update on BB10 before WP. BB10 has better support, and that’s ridiculous.

And soft touch coating degrades over time leaving a disgusting sticky layer of plastic. Samsung know what they’re doing.
