I was trying to hint at the fact that to my taste there is a high level of rehash in the entertainment business as a whole. It seems that people are anxious to move away to far from a proven concept. Makes sense when you use economic indicators to measure quality, but when a broader definition is used, I feel the new stuff might be a bit meager.
