Yes RIM took far too long but UNLIKE MS they had relatively greater success before the iPhone arrived on the scene no?
I’m an Apple supporter myself so while it would take a lot for me to drop iOS I have no problems rooting for RIM to succeed. That wasn’t going to happen so long as the old CEOs were there and they refused to update the OS.
With todays news I’m hopeful that RIM will start to gain some momentum….
Like I said Windows Phone has never been a factor in the market. Both before the iPhone and afterwards. Blackberries on the other had was once the most popular phones on the market and there are still die hard loyalists from those golden days. So they have a better shot than MS at success IMO.
