First 3 sentences – couldn’t agree more. Last sentence – couldn’t dis-agree more. My parents (in their 70’s) would never use these; they would be too bewildered by them to want to learn. Most people using these in the future will be younger folks, teens / twenties, who have never known a world without the internet.
The “nonfunctional metal part” is just an embedded metal block that will set off metal detectors. So yes…it’s optional, depending upon the type of person printing the gun and their intended use.
