Well if she messes up astronomically and drives the company down to new depths then she will still walk away with millions in “thanks for trying” money. I mean look at Leo Apothaker… HP shares dropping 60%, near elimination of it’s PC brand, the cluster phuk of what was one of the most promising mobile operating systems ever in WebOS but still walked away with millions in severance.
That’s how it works if you get high enough you can stick your thumb yup your ass and still become more rich.
Not to mention this girl looks like she’s just out of high school before becoming CEO. Something tells me “Sandwich Artist” was not all that for down the experience section of her resume.
Yeah…. Ok…. Still not as good as the way that WebOS did notifications…. But it’s a neat idea. I don’t really fancy having that bubble there all the time…..
Can’t imagine you owned it for more than a day then. IOS and Android still have gaping functionality holes that WebOS ran circles around. Even to this day in iOS you cant start an email and then go back to another email to check something without closing the Email you started and throwing out everything you’ve written. Nothing out today has yet matched WebOS’s inherent abilities. Nothing…..
To each their own I guess. I’m still using a Pre3 and I would take the intuitiveness of WebOS over anything that is out even today. Nothing has caught up to WebOS in it’s inherent DNA and gives the wonderful feeling just picking it up gave.
