Until recently the emulator was far too slow to use for testing apps on.different screen sizes. And it also doesn’t let you find bugs caused by device vendors.

That was just an advert for Google. Not a single photo of a wire or router. And there wasnt even a “single email”.

From all the previous discussions there are a few options:
1. If you are using their phone (rather than a sim-free one like you really should be) they can disable the tethering option, and monitor which apps you use (to detect third party tethering apps).
2. If you use the tethering method built into Android they can possibly detect it via the “time to live” of the IP packets. This is a number that starts at something like 128 (usually, though it can be changed). Each time the packet is forwarded by a switch or router (or mobile hot spot) the TTL is decreased by one. When it.reaches 0 it is discarded. This is so all IP packets die quickly and don’t go into infinite loops accidentally. But also tethered packets will have a TTL of 127 rather than 128 because your phone forwarded them. This can theoretically be detected but I don’t know if it is actually used or how reliable it is. It is probably pretty easy to bypass. It also doesn’t affect socks proxies (most 3rd party tethering apps).
3. They can see if you are using things that only exist on desktops, e.g. World of Warcraft, Outlook, etc. Or they can sniff your browser user agent. These methods are getting less and less meaningful though as more things are available on phones.
With a sim-free phone, all of these methods can be bypassed. Buy sim-free phones people!

If you’re between spots the images should be swapped (left image to right eye and vice versa). I can’t see in 3d though so I have no idea what effect that produces.

Wait, three people live in a room that size?! Seriously? Isn’t that against some human rights laws or something?
