THIS. It’s not so much they’re not optimized for mobile, but the entire design and coding in the sites themselves. They could kill 2 birds with one stone here, let’s hope they change the sites completely. Glad to see this is being pushed from the top down.

I would prefer a slightly wider phone to help with typing in portrait mode. It’s annoying to have to flip the phone horizontally to type with wider “keys”, and you lose vertical screen space which makes following a conversation or referring to the original email you’re replying to more difficult.
I don’t really see the need to match the 16:9 resolution as it favors viewing video over texting, browsing, emails, and many other productivity apps that work better in portrait mode. I hardly ever watch video aside from a random YouTube video on my phone. Widescreen works when you’re on an iPad or something with a monitor because there’s enough usable space vertically, but not on a smartphone (IMO).

The free version gives you a lot more than Dark Sky does, for $4 less. If you don’t want to deal with the ads, you pay the same and still have a lot more functionality in the app. Dark Sky is cool, but I don’t see how it’s justified over this.

I agree, I have no real use for push (although I’m sure many do), but I would LOVE to have the interval checking. That’s the only thing left for me as far as an issue with the app after today’s update.

Perfect! The 2 biggest issues I had with it (swiping between messages instead of having to back out and adding/deleting folders) have been added. Great update, looking forward to the push issue eventually being resolved.
