One of the worst things for power users is the fact that creating and manipulating custom shapes is so limited. I spend probably a lot of my time working with custom shapes in PowerPoint, creating new objects, adding layers, grouping and merging.

What are you creating these shapes for? Company logos? Give me some context please.

I don’t think any of the things you listed are missing or more difficult in Keynote. I am deeply passionate and interested in presentation tools and want to use the best presentation tool for myself. So if you can convince me that certain features are better in PowerPoint, I am all for it. I constantly compare stuff and always learn new stuff and I am open to suggestions.
