What customers exactly? WP customers? Because there aren’t a whole lot, and they can’t do anything to make an impact to cause Google to do anything.

Looking like a hypocrite won’t hurt their business at all.

No they wouldn’t, not providing an app is different to blocking them from using the service, they still have the web. And don’t forget Microsoft was blocking ads from appearing on their YouTube app (if you want to trust The Verge, that is).

If Microsoft did that they’d be broken by the EU.

How? It’s not like they don’t allow the WP browser to access it via the web, they’re just not providing an app. A YouTube app isn’t a make or break thing for Windows Phone. If it fails, it fails because it’s awful, not because it didn’t have a YouTube app.

Big difference, Microsoft was bundling IE with Windows and actively trying to destroy the competing browsers, Google is proving YouTube, Android has it, iOS has it, Symbian had it, WP users can access it via the web, just because Google doesn’t want to give an app to an OS with negligible market share doesn’t give Microsoft the right to sue. And why shouldn’t they be worried about WP? It’s not a great OS but any clever company knows you should never discount any potential threat, Nokia did it to Android and know look, they’ve basically been whipped out of the market by Samsung.
Google feeling ‘threatened’ by WP has nothing to do with WP being good, it just means they’re doing what any business would.
You’re point about ad revenue to content creators is fair, but WP’s market share is so worthless they wouldn’t make a great deal anyway. Until WP reaches at least 15%+ market share, content creators aren’t losing much at all.

Why not? YouTube is Google’s service, they own it, if Microsoft tries to distribute it without Google’s permission then Google can sue, but Microsoft can’t sue Google just because they don’t want them to put YouTube in WP.

Comparing mobile phones to game consoles, great comparison of 2 totally different products in different industries, Windows Phone has a far smaller market share than iOS and Android, there is no reason to develop for it, or allow their services on it.

Having YouTube on WP won’t get them much anyway, it’s Google’s choice to put it on, they’re paying to run the service, I don’t see why it should be on WP till it gets about 25% market share anyway.

The US “aid” is feeding the corrupt politicians pockets, it’s not going to the country, they could very easily survive without it and without the US, in fact, they’d be ten times better off without the US; and don’t think so highly of America you moron, the US is powerful, but never “too powerful”, there’s a little term called ‘mutually assured destruction’, it’s what happens when you have nukes.

What gives you the right to say that? You don’t know the first thing about Pakistan, you’ve most likely never lived there and have probably never even been there anyway. Why doesn’t the US stop their illegal drone strikes?
