It’s totally understandable that you can’t really spend money on apps, especially if they have no use for you after one week. Of course, you also see why it’s disingenuous to judge the App Store on that basis, right? Even WebOS has enough apps to easily and smoothly get me through a week of heavy use. Android, iOS, and even WP7 have way too many apps to judge their ecosystems based off just a week of use.

I’m not saying this next bit to discount your post, I’m saying this because I understand where you’re coming from. You’re not a fan of iOS because of predetermined reasons that you had before undertaking this “experiment”. It’s clear to me that your experiment did nothing to change them, so that’s why you weren’t impressed. There’s no reason to attack you for it, so it’s a shame that some people have done so.

That said, your post does kind of come across as having a “Yeah, didn’t like it and didn’t really wanna like it anyways” tone to it. I know that’s not what you intended though, so no harm done.
