They may have updated it but the ASUS Cube google tv box I very briefly had and just sent back was on buggy 3.x Honeycomb build. The experience was awful, to call it lag would be to insult lag. I have a nexus4 phone and a nexus 7 tablet and I was very disappointed and expected a lot better. On the Asus Cube, half of the apps didn’t work, and most apps in the play store were incompatible with the Cube. You tube crashed continully, Hulu and Amazon Prime would not work no matter what and netflix buffered and stuttered. I contrast this with the my otherwise generally unused Wii that sat next to the cube which does all of these flawlessly. Google TV (at least the Asus Cube version) is definitely not ready for prime time. I could not return that fast enough.
