I am just not understanding the purpose of physical disc if all proves true pertaining to fee for a used game buyer. It seems like an unnecessary step and should just rip the band-aid off and make it so that the XB1 only deals with digital download distribution.

I have a hodgepodge full of emotions… I am anxious about the event just hours away, trying to be optimistic about what features will be revealed, but managing my expectations to not anticipate anything “innovative.”
I don’t really care about having a built in Roku in my gaming console. A tenth sequel of a longstanding game is not impressive anymore.
I’m ready for some lasers shooting out of the freaking console. Or a huge demon coming out and whopping my ass if I fail at a level on a new ip… On a more serious note give me something like they will work with Occulus VR to get their headset compatible with XBox and have it ready by launch date. Just don’t give me more of the same thing with minor revisions on hardware specs and a slightly better UI…

This frequently happens with me, though not when actually playing, but when I access the page of the video I want play. My workaround is while loading the page flip to another tab… I can only assume is has something to do with some scripting on the websites.
Happens with both Verge and Polygon sites.

I’m really not liking where our ad-centric society is going.
Call me paranoid but I can imagine that it won’t be far off for them to use facial recognition to pair the photos with credit credit cards along with your other purchasing habits within other stores. This is already being done online as far as our web tracking habits…. Couple this with a picture of you is like completing the whole piece of the puzzle.
Maybe I just don’t want a profile of me pertaining to how many times I visited the adult toy and The built-in camera raises its own, unique set of privacy questions, the Glass team acknowledged. “If I’m recording you, I have to stare at you — as a human being. Their main argument of privacy control wraps around eye direction and recording. The relevancy of stating that you have to notice if someone was recording you is completely and simply negated by the two most easy steps posted above.
Sorry that I did not make that point obvious enough for you the first time.

LEDs are hackable enough for someone to disable.
You can also wear sunglasses with google glass, so the whole “staring at person” is obscured

And I don’t think you care about it takes money to make the high end quality docu-minis that they create.
These videos don’t create themselves. I requires people who need an income to live and support themselves and their families. Ad sponsors are common enough practice that video creators use; given the level of intelligence that floats in this website,I shouldn’t have to make that statement.

They are counting on unsuspecting parents who download this game and give it to their children (toddlers likely), which in turn would absently buy this game, not realizing that they are spending their parents gas, lights and rent money to get 30 more arrows. The company who made it comes from china, and what’s worse, is that its not their first game in the App Store.

I am going to advise that fans wait for the Xbox official announcement before attempting hara-kiri, as rumors should never be taken as facts. I see prophecies of doom and gloom everywhere when it comes to Xbox… I can’t wait until some of this crap gets debunked

Yeah I guess… I just hope that some standard structured forum features will be available. The Verge is a massive community and sometimes it’s gets a little tedious to keep up with certain interesting posts.
While there may be an iPad app in the works, it would be really awesome to enable Tapatalk (it’s free for forum owners). In any case, I would think a lot of iPad (and Android) owners would really want to take advantage of forum related features like thread subscriptions, auto notifications date sorting, etc. If its not going to be on Tapatalk then I hope that these features will be on the new app.
