I like subtle scrollbars even with touch. It lets you know the total width/height of the content you’re scrolling.

Aghh the gradients! Terrible. They also have a 1px 10% white border, which looks incredibly hideous.

Can’t agree more. I’m not a big fan of Windows 8’s interpretation of Metro. Zune, Xbox, Office, Outlook.com and Windows Phone have way better implementations. (I’m only talking about design here)

Again. The comparison between YouTube and Office doesn’t even make sense. You can use Office documents in any platform because it’s an open standard. As for Silverlight, are you really saying that you need it, a Flash alternative which is hardly used by anyone (even Microsoft)?
