Jobs wouldn’t whine like Page about negative press coverage. If you can’t take the heat get out of the kitchen. Google has made numerous anti-competitive moves that deserved negative press coverage and public criticism. Page and Google are hypocrites.

The powers that be only follow the law when it suits their purposes. They “interpret” the law to fit their practices. All 3 branches of government cover each other’s backs instead of providing any real checks and balances.

Google began offering Exchange Activesync long before Hangouts were released. I consider email, calendar and contact sync to be much more important than Hangouts compatibility. Google stopped an existing feature that was used for many years to get people to adopt Gmail and Google Apps.

If Google doesn’t want criticism it shouldn’t make decisions like dropping support of Exchange Activesync. Google can easily afford to pay the licensing fees MS wants for all of the free Google Apps and Gmail accounts. Google is one of the most profitable companies in the world.

I think MS and its OEMs are throwing RT under the bus. If all of the forthcoming 8 inch and smaller Windows tablets employ Windows 8, not RT, than RT is essentially being abandoned. MS appears to be trying to unify PC, smartphone, tablet and game console operating systems. If this is true RT is really unnecessary.

This is guesswork masquerading as science. The authorities should be concentrating on finding killers that are still at large.

Verizon should be forced to maintain landline phone service until wireless is as reliable as landline in prolonged electrical outages. Verizon is trying to weasel out of its public obligations.
