These people that scam people out of a $1,000 or more are worse than someone who robs a convenience store and gets away with $200 and doesn’t hurt anyone. They’re hitting people personally. If someone wants your money to make you money, be very cautious. Why do they have to sell you something to make you money?

Good luck Paul. I’ve been using BBSs and the Internet since 1990. I think technology is now pulling people in 100 different directions and our need for instant feedback from others isn’t healthy. We get pinged all day by e-mail, phone calls, texts, Facebook, Twitter and face to face interactions. When you add it all up, it induces stress and many distractions throughout the day. In my line of work, I can’t go 5 minutes without someone pinging me for feedback on something. It’s very distracting and counter to well thought out accomplishments. It’s not that I’m not sociable, I love interaction.. it’s that it seems to take you twice as long to get back into a train of thought on a work project after something has taken your attention. Needless to say, I’ll enjoy reading about this journey.
