I’m actually a little worried as to where this type of tech will lead people. It’s going to create a whole new realm of dependency/addiction which will only get worse (better?) as computing power advances, leading to closer to reality simulations.
it could be using 1 dam milliwatt… point is, you’re essentially paying Comcast to give some stranger the opportunity to use some of your bandwidth. how ’bout a discount big brother?
