What reality are you living in, and can I have some of what you are smoking?
Q2 2013: PSG pulled in $239M in earnings. Enterprise pulled in $1082M. Adding in Enterprise Services, Software, and Financial Services, these Software/Services earned $1515M, accounting for 57% of Q3 earnings. Unlike the late 1990s, HPQ earnings are no longer dominated by PSG and IPG.
HPQ shares rose 14% yesterday due to better than expected performance in enterprise services and printing

Two years later, HP’s computing division still can’t tell their head from their arse (or publish non-conflicting sets of information).
HP needs to do us all a favor and follow IBM into Software/Services.

Neither does Meg.
It’s plainly obvious that HP is an aging dinosaur when it comes to consumer products. HP should just bite the bullet and do what they tried to do two years ago. We’re all tired of HP wasting resources on photocopied Macs, when they should be focusing on their fast-growing divisions: Software/Services.

Apple knows that HP is in decline when it comes to consumer products. HP is literally grasping at straws when it comes to their PSG division. They’re just wasting money by resources from their core strengths — Software/Services.
HP should have dumped their computing division along with Palm.

Nope, HP won’t see it. They are an aging dinosaur in the realm of consumer products. Their only future lies in Software/Services, where they have posted consistent growth and shown the ability to adapt to the marketplace.

No, HP is in decline. Their only hope lies in their Services/Software division, which has consistently beat expectations and shown growth.
HP should have dumped their PSG computing group when they had a chance. Now they’re flushing money down into the toilet that is their consumer division.

Most European countries have also had universal health care for 30+ years. While this does not explicitly include dental care, European children have been receiving screening for potential oral health concerns more consistently and for a longer time period compared to their American counterparts.

School-based fluoridation programs also more expensive. Municipal water fluoridation costs on average $1/year per person.

And the studies from the 1950s have been consistently followed up with new studies, systemic reviews, cohort studies, case control studies, meta-analyses, that overwhelmingly support the use of fluoridation.
Here’s a cross-sectional study published two months ago: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23456704

I’m sorry, but blowing out holes in teeth with even larger holes, and then filling them with BPA or mercury, hardly counts as “easy treatment.”
The best treatment is prevention. Once you start drilling giant holes in teeth, you are setting the teeth up for failure. (Don’t believe me? Look at the success rate for dental crowns over 15 years).
