Even though GT5 was a little disappointing considering how long we waited for it I still played the shit out of it and I’m not embarrassed to say that I bought a PS3 just for that game. Would I have purchased a PS4 had it been exclusive to that platform? Nah, probably not. But I will definitely be buying it on the PS3.
I have to laugh at the naysayers complaining about the graphics on GT5 though. Sure it might have been based on the same engine as GT4 but they seem to forget that they were of much higher resolution and looked pretty damn good. Not that the game was without its faults tho. They really need to scale back on the rubber banding (or get rid of it) and the AI still needed a lot of work. Compared to the old Papyrus games on PC the AI was terrible and overall the game was too easy. And the UI was frustratingly slow and cumbersome at release.

It’s not the responsibility of the AppStore owner to take them down, the onus is on the party who felt infringed. Just like in this case. Although I’m not sure why MS themselves can’t just take them down.

Would have been interesting to see them do something like this with Dust 514 which seems like an even more appropriate application of this technology.
