How many people in Finland are too poor to afford simple things like a place for their baby to sleep, food, and cloth diapers? For some reason (probably numerous articles on the internet) I thought all of those Scandinavian countries had people that had everything they needed all the time in exchange for comparatively high taxes.
This reminds me a lot of what I hoped the Google TV would be within a few short months after release. The Google TV never go there. This already does Netflix, Hulu Plus, HBO Go, Amazon VOD, etc and it does games and it does gesture and voice control…I might have to replace the Google TV box in the family room with this thing when it comes out.
“I can’t imagine it’s too hard” is something a lot of people say when they have no clue how the site is coded and what it would actually take to implement the feature as well as what else wouldn’t get done if developer resources were taken away from other things to work on this issue. If you’re a developer you should know better. If you’re not a developer, keep these things in mind before you tell someone “it can’t be that hard” when it involves development.
