You’ve completely missed the point. These two instances of app removal are not comparable. Apple removed Bang because of moral reasons which are not explicitly defined and are ambiguous at best. Google removed an app which hurt their and the developers’ revenue. If you still can’t get this idea in your head then I can’t help it and only feel sorry for you.

I have given up on that. But I am noticing that interest in G+ is increasing. My sister decided to join it a week back and she loves it.

I am in no position to comment upon the choices people make, but I’ll tell you for myself that I feel iPhone is as capable as and in many cases more capable than Android. The only features of Android that I do miss on iPhone are ability to change default apps and Gmail and Twitter widgets. But iPhone speed and smoothness makes-up for that and I don’t ever have to worry about any crashes (except for those induced by our own app).
