Agreed.
When I read this, I knew it was a pro at work: “In a video, the gun is fired nine times, and Joe says he could have gone longer if it hadn’t gotten dark.”

And I don’t know what is funnier – the monitor, or the shirts those two guys are wearing…
It also wouldn’t surprise me if they are actually showing the range between the sending & receiving stations used for their speed test… which is what the guys at either side of the picture are “adjusting”. :)

I might agree, if it was just the pen.
from the livescribe review you linked:
“As ever, the Livescribe experience begins with that customized stationery, which is crisscrossed with tiny markings that allow the pen’s camera to register its position on the page and thereby work its magic.”
I’m more curious in how the “trials in three Japanese universities” goes.
As a “Westerner”, I’d be curious to know if Sony’s device works better for note taking and pdf annotation in a Kanji/hirigana/katakana environment than it might for note-taking in English.

It brings so many questions to mind… i.e. is that for descending or ascending? [I’m from a driving-on-the-right kind of country, so would expect it to be descending]
How many more steps are there in the foreground? [the more steps in the foreground, the more ridiculous – if possible – that short section of escalator is].
“What were they thinking…?!”
etc.
EDIT: crud, I meant this for DrAnonyman’s photo

Tim must be laughing at how the drop in share price has enabled Apple to buy-back a ton of shares – for future options – than they could have when the price was at stupid levels.
also, no MacPro refresh/redesign until Fall? bummer!
