Exactly the reason why they want to kill Pandora. History has shown that the music industry doesn’t want us to listen to music the way we want to listen to it. They want us still listening to the radio with tons of commercials and buying full cd’s for one song.
It’s funny that the people I see complaining about it the most are the ones that already have their life on the Internet; Facebook accounts, smartphones that track everything you do and everywhere you go, etc. You’re fine with a corporation doing it to make money off of you but not ok with the government doing it to help save lives.
I’ve done the opposite, I play more console games. I like relaxing in my couch or recliner and play. Sure I get better graphics on PC but I’m tired from work and the last thing I want to do is sit at another desk after work. Plus I get to play with my friends, how many of your friends play PC games? Hardly any.
Yes, Nexus phones get longer support than other phones. I had the Nexus S and that had support from 2.3 all the way up to 4.1 so you can be safe that you’ll have more support than practically any other Android phone out there.
