Yes it should be located on your Battlenet account and when you build or buy a new PC you could download the client to that PC and play it with out any issues.

Why are people so hung up on permanent choices in an action rpg. I hated that about Diablo II, if you had points in a skill you disliked you were stuck with it.
I am only level 27 with my Demon Hunter and the longest cooldown I have is 30 seconds? I have no idea how that’s frustrating to anyone, unless you are looking to pop one skill that buffs you and then stack another one on top of it. Which of course breaks any type of class/game balance.

Maybe it’s too dark for him, Torchlight II looks cartooney and far from a dark story. That is not a knock on Torchlight II either I am exicted for that as well the first one was fun.

Yes no running to town to fill the potion belt or pick up scrolls to indentify crap. And I love the new skill trees it allows you to adapt your playstyles and try out new things. It’s a boon in co-op games as well as you can change your roll for greater party synergy.

Steam did have a rocky launch and folks hated it back then but Valve worked out all the kinks so now it’s well loved. In Blizzards’s case the online only policy with Diablo III is not something I love but I understand why they wanted to do it. Diablo II was filled with cheating. I just wish you had the ability to authenticate and then play offline. DRM sucks when the servers for your game are not working and your user base cannot play. If the launch went smoolthly their would be far less outcry.

I have not run into any server issues the last few days it appears to be mostly ironed out. They did take down the Auction House last night and they still have had some rolling restarts to the servers. I cannot say why but even Blizzard seems surprised by the massive amount of sales and the affect it’s had on battlenet.
As for the review I agree whole heartedly, never have I seen a game designed in a way that just keeps you locked into playing it. Each class is unique and fun, you level fast, every level is a reward of new skills or runes to change existing skills. Combat is smooth, viseceral and just has that feel of “wow they really thought this all out”
You at times feel vastly overpowered and 10 minute’s later your screen is gray from your unexpected death. Love the game.

Kepler was confirmed except I believe on the base model. Anandtech has a good review of one already and if you plan to do any type of gaming I would recommend it over the MBA.

It’s the only game in Blizzard’s current stable that would port well to any of the consoles. So there could be a chance it happens.

It is dumb!
My advice to folks who plan to pick it up is to treat it like an MMO, not in terms of gamplay but expect maintenance on the servers and downtime on certain days. I was unable to login in this morning because of server maintenance.
Quite the annoying feature for a single player game.

That is true, I do agree 300 GB or 250 GB is plenty for most folks but more and more content is going to be coming into house holds digitally, so the idea of fixed caps is troublesome.

What display? I’m actually looking for another 24 to 27 inch screen for the PC I built for the wife the piddly 17 inch screen she current has irritates her.

I always say go a little big higher wattage if you can afford it, that way if you end up getting a beefier Video Card or want to run SLI or Crossfire you do not have to replace the PSU.

I am about 3 hour in single player and then last night I played about 3 hours co-op with 3 folks. The Co-op was a blast. Game play is smooth, animations are stellar it’s been a ton of fun for me so far. I actually love the new skill system it allows a greater variety of play styles without having to lock yourself into anything you might regret later. You can’t flip skills in combat but doing it outside of combat takes only a few clicks. It’s a great action RPG, no more, no less, but that’s what Diablo has always been.
The required internet connection is a bummer though,e last night I was getting lag when I was playing solo. That’s just not something I would thought would be an issue.

I just upgraded my PC in January replacing a 5 year old rig.
Antec Darkfleet DF-85 Full Tower
Intel Core i5 2500k , Xigmtek Loki Cooler
ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3
16GB GSkill Ripjaws DDR 3@ 1866mhz
EVGA Geforce GTX 570
OCZ Vertex 3 240 GB SSD (that was pricey but considering how big some game installs are I do not regret it)
1 TB Western Digital Black 7200 RPM Sata III HDD
Antec 750 Watt Modular PSU 80 Plus
27 inch 1920*1200 Hanns G Monitor (Better monitor than I expected, won’t blow your sock off but for the price I love it)
I have a Logitech G110 keyboard and a Logitech G700 Mouse.
The case has impressed me the most it’s very quiet and the removable filters are a nice touch.

If you are purely coming from the standpoint of missing the old noble Blizzard I get that but we all knew that would be gone as soon as they merged with Activision.
Haivng played it a few days I love it sans requring a connection that part is awful and infuritating.

Agreed and if they are laying the grounds for an MMO the costs are likely very high. It’s been rumored EA spent around $150-200 million to make SWTOR. MMO’s are very expensive to make and very high risk albiet high reward if succesful.

Here Here, With Netflix, Hulu+ Hbo to Go (Courtesy of my Cable paying Sister) and two Steam Accounts I eat through 250GB+ pretty easily. We even use VUDU occasionally and streaming a movie in the higest HDX format uses quite a bit of bandwidth.
It’s simply a work around by the providers to increase prices.

I crank through about 4 GB a month so I am disappointed by this but not surprised. Thankfully I can share data with my sister who uses only 100 meg per month as well.

Agreed, just lower that price to $199.99 or $149.99, $299.99 is asking a lot when you can pick up the One-X on AT&T for $199.99.
