I feel that the Verge is becoming a jack of all trades and a master of none. I concur with the argument behind this post. iOS 7 isn’t perfect, but I am using and it’s a fantastic change.

The coverage from The Verge was very disappointing.

I completely disagree. The utility that control centre provides is amazing. And what’s wrong with the flashlight? If someone doesn’t have the smarts to use control centre or is “confused” by it, well then that’s too bad for them.

It’s not ridiculous. This is a beta. Apple didn’t pull an HP touchpad launch here. They can still change things. But from what they’ve shown and from what I’ve tried, it is quite remarkable as is.

I agree. I think they will modify some of the icons before the release. People have to remember it’s just a beta. Everything else is ambitious and I think they pulled it off.
