I am close to 70 and have been searching and searching for a high-end 15" laptop since last year. I was interested in the rMBP but discovered over 500 pages of complaints about ghosting issues with the LG display on the Apple forum. As I understand it, Samsung is doing a slow release of the Chronos 7. The model shown at CES has yet to be released. The KiraBook is too small I’ve decided to wait for (I’m hoping) a few weeks until the Haswell computers come on the market. The resolution on these computers is supposed to match, if not beat the rMBP. The quality of the Iris graphics is supposed to so good that you may not need discrete graphics. Also, the promise is that battery life may be as much as 24 hours.
