Add Facetime to iMessager and release iMessenger to Android and Windows phone. Problem solved :) Apple said they would open Facetime to other platforms… but when?
Foursquare Integration would be amazing. Yelp sucks compared to Foursquare. It’s really my only complaint with Apple Maps is the lack of POI. I have to search Google Maps for an address to bring into Apple Maps for Turn by Turn. Flyer Over is better than Google Earth and Turn By Turn just works the way I want it to… Google Maps reroutes me every mile. Mac version and an iCloud version would also be welcomed but not as necessary. And the lack of Public Transportation info is dumb, even though I never had to use it.
Apple is at a cross road were mid-lifes won’t understand the apps if they aren’t visually familiar and the new consumers don’t even know what a yellow note pad is.
They didn’t commit suicides because of Foxconn. They committed suicide because Foxconn was the BEST they could do. They were stuck in an endless cycle of making electronics.
No one knows how to use Windows 8 because of it. My friend who is a web information major (he isn’t the brightest of people but still) and my Dad can’t use it. I can use it but only because I am (probably just as you are) very tech savvy) You can’t just toss something way. You have to gradually make people depend less on it.
