I’ve tried some of the recent Thinkpad chiclet keyboards. Not bad at all… Much more key travel than any other chiclet keyboard that I’ve seen, and they’ve retained the water drainage feature in a lot of models.

My guess is that picking on HTC is easy… They are tiny compared to Samsung and are much more likely to roll over. Picking a fight with Samsung, especially in the US, is a much bigger can of worms. Most likely why Apple has filed suits against Samsung everywhere BUT the US.

Didn’t think I’d like them either until I tried one. Very deep key travel for chiclet style. Still the best laptop keyboards being made, hands down.

Watch nerd here. Just a minor correction: Sapphire is far, far from shatter-proof… It is however highly scratch-resistant. Also, synthetic sapphire has been used for watches for close to 2 decades now. Carry on.
