The Ford F150 has been the best selling vehicle in the US for the past 24 years, and the best-selling pickup for the past 33. Ford does not know poverty, they have never been weak.

Yahoo isn’t exactly poor. They’ve been sitting on billions for years but hadn’t had the balls to do anything with them.

Yahoo recently released an iOS weather app which many think is the best ever and should be the new default on iOS devices. Yahoo mail has become a decent service and the UI is really snappy. Their stock is up 80% from last year. They recently came to possess one of the largest collections of gay porn on the internet. Flickr redesign is nothing short of impressive.

tbh Yahoo is in a great place. technophiles may have eschewed them back in 2004 or whatever but I don’t think they lost the middle-aged news readers that drive ad revenue. And they did it all without rebranding like hotmail → outlook or anything like that.
