You do realize how much better the latter is right? Only paying for what you actually want to watch. Not to mention better for humanity with people not zombieing away in front of their televisions.
So. Why exactly doesn’t the Verge have an Internet Year in Review every year? It would be just like this except you wouldn’t have to force someone to leave the internet for a year!
