I find this absolutely fascinating, in particular the differences in speech patterns, pronunciation, etc. We barely have photographs from the era, let alone voice samples like this one. I’ve always been curious to see what would be like to travel back in history and hear your ancestors speak, see them move, interact, etc. The movies and so on paint a picture based on what we think it was like. It’s stuff like this that’s invaluable to fill in those gaps in our understanding.
