I have been using copy and paste on it for a while, didn’t ever look for this feature but I don’t think I ever saw it either when I updated to outlook way back in july.
gmail you can use copy image (not image url) and paste as well, in line adding is kind of pointless now that all the big emails pretty much support plain copy and paste
