You are just as bad as the terrible religious leaders of this world that shouldn’t be interpreting holy books. You have no idea or knowledge of what you are doing a profess intelligence. I have cited numerous sources from Muslim scholars and leaders that say you are wrong. You didn’t bother to read them.

They didn’t even need the boxcutters. Before 9/11 many hijackings were hostage situations that resolved themselves and didn’t lead to mass deaths. So the people assumed keep calm and we will be fine, especially since they had knives and not bombs. Now we are just going to beat the hell out of a person with a knife. Plus it is kind of hard to kill a person with a 2.5 inch blade while other people are choking you out

What are you talking about? There is a reason why terrorist stopped trying to hijack planes in flight and it’s probably not because of new regulations. After the last plane got word that the other planes were used as missiles on 9/11 people got up and did something about. Any person now is just going to beat the hell out anyone that even attempts to make a move but during 9/11 people probably just assumed it was a hostage situation.

Read the quote again. Its not that they think they should kill its whether or not they have the right to carry the signs. Every religious sect are made of people that are terrible historians. If they were good at history they wouldn’t believe in the stupid systems they believe in. The religion like all Judo-Christian religions requires action but not in the way that you are assuming it to mean. You are incorrectly interpreting sections of a body of religious texts just like radicals do.

You mean like the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation which claims itself as the voice of Muslims and even has a position at the UN? Cause they condemned the cartoon and the threats and even held a special conference over it. Kind of like that?

My argument is that Osama Bin Laden was not a Muslim but an opportunist that twisted the Koran and its followers to his purpose.

There are 1.8 Billion Muslims in the world you saw a small fraction react when the cameras were on them.
Think it was right for Muslim demonstrators to carry placards calling for the killing of those who insult Islam: 12 percent.
From a poll of British Muslims in 2006. I wouldn’t be surprised if the number of people that agreed with abortion clinic bombing were that high in the US

It really isn’t semantics. Religious views/beliefs can be personal/private or/and not involve politics at all. Your beliefs are only political if you use them in an effort to influence people in a civic way. If I convinced you to believe in Zeus or Paganism your beliefs about social issues would be intact and would be purely your political beliefs and not based on religion.
Any thought action or belief that doesn’t affect or deal with the ongoings of the state is not political.

You keep saying that. Religious and political beliefs don’t have to be the same thing. I have religious friends that don’t believe in homosexuality being a moral choice. They still vote and support gay marriage because they think that their beliefs (and government control) shouldn’t affect another human beings right to chose their own path.
Some religions don’t even have moral beliefs or codes on which to derive political beliefs. Some people keep their faiths to themselves.
Politics is the art/science of influencing people.

A political act as targeting a government or it’s citizens. 9/11 was a political act.
A religious act attempts to defend ones own beliefs but can target an individual or corporation. A group attacking a cartoonist out of offense to their faith is an religious act.
(These are my definitions)

I’m going to have to disagree here. While radical Islamists “defend” their religion, radical Christians have done the same with abortion clinic bombings and shootings. Israel can also be seen in a similar light. The other problem he makes is equating terrorism with religion when it is a political act by definition. Just because religion was used as a brainwashing tactic does not mean the act was of a religious nature.

What electric cars have you been dealing with? Every one I have dealt with has things under the hood or trunk (or both) since that is the easiest way for technicians to service them.
