Its good that they are willing to make it cross platforms but they havent yet. Even the poorest service is superior to the one that doesn’t exist.

Not really, if its already rolled into the existing play services its got one big advantage over Spotify for new users. You dont have to locate, download an app and then sign up for another account.

Odds are not and odds are its not Google’s choice. People love to bitch about it but globalization isnt as easy as everyone wants to make it sound. Of course Google would like to roll this, likely profitable, service out to everyone. But there are contracts that must be inked and regulations that must be accounted for.
So, it could be the labels want new contracts with their child companies in each country, it could be each country has some digital rights laws and tax rules that the service has to be tweaked for, etc.

Actually they arent entitled to anything. They have the right to try and they could have easily charged $3-5 more per book than Amazon without colluding with the content providers to fix prices. If they did that then you would be somewhat right (still not entitled to anything).
Apple has tried this with all content, like magazines. Where they wanted to force anyone who published to only offer the content at the same price or higher than iTunes, even if publishing outside of iTunes was substantially cheaper.

If you self publish, this article wasnt about self publishing.
Also, are their books like their music, where you need aggregators who serve as a single point for publishing instead of managing thousands of individual bands?

You are spouting off on something you don’t really understand. Amazon did nothing wrong, which is why they arent being investigated. Its not some vast conspiracy against your beloved Jobs. The conspiracy was between Apple and the publishers to create a price floor.
To be predatory they would have had to artificially deflate the price in a specific market with the intent of driving someone out of a market and then raising them. Amazon built a sustainable model where they used eBooks/eReaders as a “loss leader” in order to convince you to spend with them. Retailers do it all of the time, its how the big box department stores can afford to sell hard goods so cheap, because they are betting while you are in there you will buy clothing (which is usually a very high margin good).

If they want to make a law they should make a law about how you shouldnt be allowed to make a law unless you can explain “ionizing radiation.” If you understand the concept then you’d easily realize that things that work within the radio band of the spectrum are not a threat to you.
The waves wont fit in your DNA to mess it up (simplifying it). They are just too big (that’s that she said!).

The best would be a Pacific Rim and Italian Job mashup. It could be the “Pacific Rim Job.”

That is the MILITARY classification of a weapon within warfare, it is not the universal rule when regarding to something as a WMD.
The basic dictionary defintion would fit.
Its a weapon = check
Its intent is en masse, bombs do things en masse = check
Last I checked bombs were all about destruction = check.
They intended to set off a weapon that could create mass casualties, that is a weapon of mass destruction.

They don’t, but putting bullets into them or throwing them into jail sure makes it hard to carry out more attacks. This whole thing is a case study of that. They wanted to go to NYC and were loaded with bombs to do it. Unfortunately for them the order brother was given some free copper and lead by Watertown cops and the younger was found bleeding to death in a boat.
Capture/killed = no longer a threat.

You could also get killed in a car wreck, burn to death in your own home, eat some bad fish, get a nasty infection, etc.
You’ll likely die of natural causes more than once before you will die in a terrorist attack in the US.
