What phone are you using? I’ve always been able to open PDFs without having to download a reader. I believe the built in document viewer should be able to handle it.
Well, until it comes out, nobody will have a clear answer for that. Really just depends on what it can do.
If it can provide these things, I’ll switch to it in a heartbeat -
Integrated SMS (including Google Voice)
Google Talk
Single/Multi-User Video Conference
Works on all major platforms (including Chrome browser)
Full Google Voice integration (voice calls) would also be a plus, but not required for me.
At least in my life, that would make it ubiquitous. None of the other services can provide that for me.
Sorry, one more cross-platform messaging app? I’m sure there would be more than a few people that just say, “Text me”
That’s where I think these messaging apps need to be going. Not to closed off cross-platform systems, but to apps that converge messaging protocols. Like iMessage, but cross platform. Hopefully, Babel (aka Hangouts) will achieve that.
Something is terribly wrong with you. You accuse Google of having a very short memory, but you yourself have a very poor memory. If it’s not your memory, then it’s your comprehension. If it’s not your comprehension, you’re purposefully trying to mislead readers.
Tell Alibaba to produce a forked android phone with a manufacturer that isn’t part of the Open Handset Alliance. No problem there. Just like Amazon.
