He could write a book detailing his experience, sell it and make enough money for the fine and perhaps a nice sum for himself. If people share it online illegally, he can sue them too:)

For some of us, it’s not entirely about the unlimited vs. tiered structured. I stayed with the unlimited plan because it still honored the access discount received by business employees. Some companies have discount on plans, and the new tiered plans do not accept it. So really, if they honored the discount, then it would not be as big of a deal.

Since nobody on Verizon has an unlimited 4G plan, it’s not going to matter. If you look at your plan details, if you are grandfathered unlimited using an LTE device, you’ll see unlimited email and web for a smartphone. Separately on the list is 4G access and possibly other 4G options. The data plan is not labeled as 3G or 4G unlimited, just an unlimited plan.
Point being, once you are eligible for an upgrade and the shared data tiers are available, this should affect everyone according the remarks in the article.

As long as there are drivers who continue to rubberneck accidents (never understood that) and compulsively switch lanes, there will be no solution to traffic.
