Baller, Shot-Caller.
Right.
My name is Max.
And I live in the Shreveport, LA area where I work as a Network Technician for AT&T (BellSouth :P). My experience in technology includes several years with HP as a marketing rep/account sales rep, as well as running a small-business with my best friend. We do full-blown home theater installs, among other things, to the places people live, work, gather, etc. Very fun, very exciting work, and we've had a measurable ammount of success here in our first two fiscal years of business. I hope you guys can check the site out and provide feedback, or even just call us to talk TV's (really, we enjoy it).
I'm definitely excited to be a part of the "early adopter" community on The Verge, and can't wait to meet everybody!

You know how some people can be on these sites, trying to be funny. I really do feel for you guys over there, and HP as a whole. Best of luck, my friend..

No lie, I’ve always liked the look of the Bold series. It was my first smartphone (9700), so I guess it’ll always be a little special to me.

Give em a break. They SERIOUSLY need to get BB10 locked down before they go fooling with all this. Most of the BoD is gone, they need who they’ve got left to focus on what’s important. I’d argue that licensing away one of RIM’s last key differentiators would zap what little is left in their handsets…there would simply no incentive to buy a BB handset if you could get the same thing on an iPhone or Nexus.

And if I’m not mistaken, I think I read somewhere that they don’t tax out-of-state income. RI has always been kind of a tax haven, from what I’ve heard.
