My biggest issue with Hangouts is that they added virtually nothing to Talk. Instant messaging from within GMail? Yeah, it’s there. Messages synced between my phone and the web client? That was there too. So were online notifications. And there was a platform for video calling, I guess that’s new(ly integrated into this app), but who really video calls on a regular basis?

I just wish they’d actually added any useful features, such as SMS integration, or even just a good Windows client for people who don’t want to run Chrome.

What does the actual service charge pay for if not cell sites and interconnects?

What I like most about this “administrative fee” is that according to AT&T none of it is being used to pay for administrative costs.
