I got the exact same impression from that commercial. Personally, I average maybe a photo a day, and even then, most of those get deleted because I was screwing around with a setting or something like that. And lately, I’ve been trying to control my use habits, because I felt like I was staring at the screen of my phone too much. I was tuning out the world too much.
Judging by the other comments, it looks like the majority aren’t worried about being so wrapped up in domenting their whole life that they forget to live it. Maybe you and I are just the cynical types, or maybe we’ve opened our eyes a little wider than everyone else.
The key word there is “when”. Could be next year, could be 5 years from now. Either way, Tesla has a head start, and if the big auto companies begin to produce low quality electric vehicles, Tesla will look even better. I’m all for little guys jumping into the ring to mix things up. The status quo of the auto industry right now is still piss poor.
