I miss my Geocities page, created when I was in college in I dunno, 1997 or 1998. I found it on web.archive.org and saved as much of it as I could. The text is all still there at least.
Especially considering any alternative requires people using it. And if nobody’s heard of the alternative, nobody’s using it – kind of makes it a non-alternative, doesn’t it?
