Yeah, it’s Paranoid Android. I haven’t actually ran my phone stock at all, so I wouldn’t know if it has HDR.

Understandable, standing out is always a good thing. I am a sucker for minimalism. I think just a little more green and a little darker to match the iPod would have been better. Overall it’s a nice design though. I like the way you have considered buttons in relation to how you hold it. (Ergonomics/user Interaction) Also, the ring around it is a nice touch.

1. Not really, too warm (yellowy). Won’t match the Apple aesthetic.
2. Definitely interesting, not sure if projecting sound down is a good idea.
3. For a GCSE project, yeah. Could have a better fit around the buttons.
4. Its stands out, I would stop and look at it for sure, reminds me of the B&W Zeppelin, which is no bad thing.
5. Depends on audio quality, but somewhere under £50.
6. I can’t truly answer that without picking it up, but it looks interesting, not quite looking good, but different. Could be nicer with some refinement (materials/proportions/details)
7. Look at what Apple does for colour, generally monochrome. If they ever use colours (like your iPod) they are primary colours.
8. Probably not, if it was near £100 or this green. I would go for the Jawbone Jambox.

This was in HDR mode, I think.
And the Nexus 4 is the most expensive camera I have owned, minus the GS2. I dont mind the pictures it puts out. Not exactly a pro photographer.
BTW… I’m running PA, do you guys tweak the camera software at all / could you? -

Just looked through my photos, this was the best of them. Chatham Docks, UK. Sometime near sunset on a Tuesday in February.
Still waaay to much noise in the shadows, I miss my GS2’s camera. -

It appears on closer inspection that it’s just the image on my phone that is corrupted, re-downloaded and fixed, thank you.

Yeah, the wallpaper is a little messed up, but the bottom half looks so good that I don’t mind. I’ve got some free time, might try and photoshop it out later.
As for the transparent status bar, i’m running Paranoid Android, thats why there are no soft buttons, made a post about it a while back, Top Reasons To ROM/Root Your Phone.

Also from the UK here, if anything, whenever I hear the Vergecast mention the UK or EU mobile market, they seem to be in envy of it, and I can see why, nothing they have said appears to be wrong. That or its wildly exaggerated stereotypes of Britain, like a few weeks ago, which makes me giggle.

Its so terrible that I usually just use Google Music, even though it is ugly as hell. But I give it a go every now and then, nice to use a good looking app when I have a decent connection.

Its midnight here and i’ve already watched the F1, the BTCC and the MotoGP today, but staying up for this for The Verge.
Just looked at the race calendar, looks like another North America only “World Series”, cough baseball, at least go to Silverstone, Spa or Monza. -

If you are rooted, and I assume you are Moles. then you can use GMusicFS to get Google Music in now playing, thats what I do.
