Not sure if worth explaining, but here goes…
1) People buying from Amazon are most likely the minority of smartphone buyers; most will upgrade via carrier directly.
2) ATT is only one carrier in the US, and the US one mobile market among many – neither the largest nor the most advanced
3) “Out of stock” sounds interesting, but it all depends on how big the stock was to begin with.

Probably WP7 does not leave enough free RAM for apps, unlike Symbian which was quite efficient that way.

Hmm, just want to point out that there is a big insecurity about upgrade to WP8, the next version… but you got a point on Android, app developers still need to target 2.2 at a minimum (should be possible to move to 2.3 very soon though).

Btw, Google admitted copying those 9 lines of code, and did not contest it afaik. Same for the “test files” – they just deny there is any damage, because, well, there really isn’t.
