Going to the movies is already too expensive as it is compared to what you get. I don’t want to pay to sit and watch commercials for 20 or 25 minutes before the movie starts. Me paying the equivalent of $100-150 for a movie theater ticket – that’ll be the day. I’d gladly pay 25% more if they’d just cut the damn commercials, show two trailers and start the movie.
If I could buy a ticket and not wait forever to get to see the movie I’d go a lot more often and it would take a smaller bite out of my 24 hours.

So all you have to do is make a trailer while making everyone believe you’ve made a movie. If it indicates a box office success you go ahead and make the movie. I want John Goodman in my trailer. He’ll fit right in.
