Especially in Israel where it isn’t uncommon for women or small girls to be spat on for wearing short sleeves, or for them to strictly adhere to religious keeping the actual police out. I say design concept because Themes in android aren’t really Themes. They’re baked in UIs, but then you also got themes with a lowercase ‘t’. Which make it so you can implement styles without calling them individually.

Most apps unfortunately are turn-and-burns. Designed for keywords rather than something the developer is truly passionate about, so they’re not going to be doing shit anyways. From a business perspective that’s cool but morally it’s really not. Google really, really needs to work on streamlining the design process. Because just getting things to look right takes the majority of your time, and baking in a new UI for the fans isn’t helping anyone.
