I know nothing about the tech industry so I will take your word for it.
But when the Verge has posts about gun control and “why I voted for Obama” posts what do you expect? Everyone knows that politics divides. And wether you like it or not, There is a vast amount of people if not a majority who have conservative views in which we know that blog posts about gun control for instance, are getting their info from politically biased news outlets.
I’m in the off road industry. Virtually no women. Not because we don’t accept them. It’s because most women have no interest in off road vehicles. What we don’t do is try to get women to be involved in an attempt to make us sleep at night.
I am wondering in particular what you are trying to be as a website? Are you trying to be a tech site? News site? Political site? all of the above?
For instance, over the last few months we’ve gotten talk on Sexism, Gun Control, Immigration, Why I’m voting for Obama, along with tech writing.
This is my favorite website, but with tech mixing with liberal media propaganda I feel that this site will end up being another CNN/MSNBC/New York Times that will make you just another website and not a cutting edge site that you should/could be.
Could you clarify, or explain what your goals are for this site?
Poor Verge, cant help but get involved in politics. Love you guys, but man. Where is the balanced approach to media? Not here, might try CNN or MSNBC, oh wait….
