You’d think so but Atom devices are already as cheap as or cheaper than ARM. My Vivo Tab Smart costs less than a Surface RT, and probably wasn’t far from Vivo Tab RT.
Add the fact that performance is better than ARM and battery life is the same. Why not do it?
