Wrong. If everyone brought as much as I do on a plane there wouldn’t be a problem at all. Selfish? Guess not.

I know. I just don’t care. My aim is to make it as easy as possible for me, everyone else can go to hell. For sure its pure evil, but so is riding on a plane. It’s up the the airline companies to prevent people taking these huge bags on, sometimes 2 huge bags. They are the problem. My method is the solution. Tiny backpack, first available spot.

Here’s how to win.
Get on. Drop your bag in the first available spot. Walk back to your seat.
There is no rule that says you have to sit right underneath your bag.
I know it sometimes screws folks up front, but I absolutely do not care.
Also when I pick blueberries I just walk around and take the best ones.
I don’t waste time cleaning up an entire bush.
Fuck the world.

I’m not talking about smoothness, or how it looks at all. I’m talking about the time required to invoke useful action. Stock Android does what I need it to faster, primarily because it handles notifications and voice search better.

Exactly. Skeumorphism wasn’t the biggest problem with iOS.
I was an iPhone user for years. Still an Apple fan, but honestly stock Android just works better.

The garbled message makes the point though. It’s not that the Republicans are bad at social media. They only look bad at it because their message is not appealing to users of social media. A much bigger problem since these are predominantly young and future voters.

This blurb is so badly written that it locks me in a glass case of emotion.
When considering any writing decision, writers working at The Verge have to work out how to inform readers of tech news — such as designing a new Android interface — without making them feel like they’ve read something wrong, meaning parentheticals, comma splices, redundancies and other sloppy writing techniques are a no-go.
